You don’t need to know any fancy steps or anything- follow these four simple rules: stay close when he turns, never let go of his hand when he puts it out there for you, always lead from your hips when following him around the room and remember that every time he executes a step correctly, give him an “atta boy!”<\/p>\n

Being the best dance partner is an art that requires lots of practice and patience. I know this because my husband has spent hours upon hours teaching me how to waltz, tango, foxtrot, cha-cha, and all those other fantastic dances you can do at a wedding or ballroom competition. And while it’s been a lot of fun learning with him, there have been plenty of times when I’ve wanted to quit – especially after we accidentally start dancing on each other’s feet!
